How we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information.

Template — not yet legal advice

[TEMPLATE — attorney review required before publishing.] This is a generic, good-faith draft to describe intended data practices. It has not been reviewed by counsel, is not tailored to any specific state or jurisdiction, and must be finalized before the site handles real personal data.

Corventa (a single U.S. limited liability company operating staffing, recruiting, and consulting service lines, “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides staffing, recruiting, and consulting services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website and in the course of our services. Because we place candidates and serve clients, we act as a controller of the personal information we collect for our own recruiting and business purposes.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information we need for our services:

  • Candidate inquiries. When you join our talent network or express interest in a role, we collect your name, email, phone, target role, key skills, location preference, and your U.S. work-authorization status. We ask for work-authorization status only — we do not collect immigration documents, citizenship, or national origin through this website.
  • Employer inquiries. When you request talent, we collect your name, company, work email, phone, the roles or skills you need, engagement type, vertical, headcount, timeline, and any notes you provide.
  • Information you provide later. As an engagement progresses, and separately from this website, we may collect additional information needed to place a candidate (for example, a résumé and work history). Where a background check is involved, any disclosure and authorization required by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable law is presented and collected separately, on an affirmative, opt-in basis — never pre-checked and never bundled into a general application.
  • Voluntary self-identification. Any equal-employment self-identification (such as race, gender, veteran, or disability status) is voluntary, optional, kept separate from hiring decisions, and never used to screen candidates.
  • Technical information. Basic server logs may record standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to your inquiry and provide our services.
  • To match candidates with suitable roles and to present qualified candidates to clients (candidates are submitted to a client only with the candidate’s permission).
  • To communicate with you about opportunities, roles, and next steps.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our business and this website.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the information collected through this website for third-party advertising.

3. How we share information

  • Clients. With a candidate’s permission, we share relevant candidate information with prospective employers for the purpose of a specific opportunity.
  • Service providers. We use vetted vendors (for example, an applicant tracking system, email, or — where applicable — a consumer reporting agency for background checks) that process information on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Where any protected health information is involved on the healthcare side, we put appropriate agreements (such as a business associate agreement) in place.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our services.

4. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which we delete or de-identify it. [Specific retention periods to be defined with counsel and reflected here.]

5. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing privacy@corventatalent.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws. [State-specific rights and any “Do Not Sell or Share” disclosures to be added once the operating and target states are confirmed.]

6. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including transport encryption (HTTPS) and access controls that limit candidate and client data to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s privacy

Our services are directed to working professionals and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
